My name: Mery Country: Venezuela How did you first learn about Islam? Allah was my guide; He led me to Islam. His call guided me to the truth. I was never religious and had no other gods, but I felt and realized the existence of a Creator who made everything in the heavens and the earth. How did you follow it? Praise be to Allah, I followed His guidance, and everything happened naturally. I began studying, and Allah blessed me with a teacher and then a female teacher. This is how I embraced Islam. When did you feel it was the true religion? When someone asked me, “Are you a Muslim?” I replied, “Yes.” At that moment, I felt happiness and excitement. How long did it take you to embrace Islam? From the moment I testified that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger, and from the moment I began studying Islam. How do you feel after learning and practicing it in your life? I am happy with what I have learned. This is what has happened to me throughout my life, and it is the best lesson I have ever learned. Practicing it in my life has helped me emotionally, spiritually, physically, and in every aspect. I am very happy now and very proud to be a Muslim. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
